St. Thomas Aquinas was a great Christian philosopher. He dug
deep in the world of both worlds after life. Despite what his family had to say
he went on to St. Dominic to study more at the age of seventeen. Later on his
family even went as far as going to tempt him with an unholy woman to see just
how spiritual he was. God had seen this and has given him the gift of perfect
chastity. This earned him the title of “Angelic Doctor.” His life was based on
so many accomplishments and honors through his lifetime.
St. Thomas Aquinas had been a holy man that honored God so much
that throughout his life he had been given all these opportunities which were
his rewards for all that he had done to respect God.
He began as a saint and then as he did his profession at Naples he then
published his first work and at the same time was appointed to preach in the
same city. Four years after his studies St. Thomas Aquinas were sent to Paris
and then he then went from saint to priest. He then began to receive many offers
for positions but he declined them to do more of the same work he had been doing
for years and that was what he was devoted to. He looked at both sides of
science and religion and used them both to make connections to each other and
how they were both similar and almost the same in the
end.
